About Cyril
This is a tribute to Cyril Burke. He was born Cyril Thomas Burke on the 7th November 1925 and was an Australian Rugby Union player who played as a scrum-half in 26 internationals for Australia from 1946 to 1956. During this period he toured South Africa and New Zealand as well as taking part in the 1947-48 Australia rugby union tour of the British Isles, Ireland, France and North America where he played in all five Tests.
Cyril Burke passed away on the 18th January 2010 and this is a memorial to honour his life. May he rest in peace.
