About Kama
An online memorial dedicated to Kama Chinen who was a Japanese supercentenarian, who at the age of 114 years and 124 days, became the oldest validated living person. At the age of 114 years and 272 days, she became the 28th oldest person ever and, at the age of 114 years and 348 days, became the 25th oldest woman ever. At the age of 114 years and 331 days, she became the last person born in 1895 when American supercentenarian Neva Morris died on 6 April 2010. Chinen was born in Okinawa, Japan.
This is a tribute to her incredible life.
