This is an online obituary in memory of Patrick Swayze. Patrick Wayne Swayze was an American actor, dancer and singer-songwriter. He was best-known for his roles as romantic leading men in the films Dirty Dancing and Ghost and as Orry Main in the North and South television miniseries. He was listed by People magazine as its "Sexiest Man Alive" in 1991. Diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in January 2009, he died from the disease just eight months afterwards. This memorial is to honour the life of Patrick Swayze and his achievements.

My wife, Judy East, loved Patrick Swayze as an actor. Patrick displayed trememdous courage throughout his illness. His life should be model for all of us to follow. Judy passed away in December, 2008. May she and Patrick share a dance in Heaven until we can be with them again.
