About Barbara
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
Gone too soon.
Remembered forever with love.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A BRIEF BIO ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Barbara was the second youngest of five children. Growing up with three older brothers, she became a bit of a "tomboy" who could climb giant trees fearlessly and hold her own in childhood games of daring. She had one sister.
Since the family moved a lot, Barbara attended many schools. Fortunately for her, she made friends quite easily and adapted to new situations with determination. After living in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and California, the family settled in Arizona, where Barbara started working at an early age.

She had wonderful, caring friends (especially David, Mary and Palmer) who stood by her in those last months. Barbara was also able to spend treasured time with her daughter Keri and son Mark. Grandchildren Kayla, Alexis and Alicia remained close by as well.
Barbara went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2010, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Dear Barbara,
Today I listened to the pretty porcelain music box you sent me years ago. On its lid it says:
There is no friend like a sister,
and no sister quite like you.
Today I send that same sentiment to you. May you rest in Peace.
Sisters always,
