About Cynthia
This is an online memorial dedicated to Cynthia Myers. Cynthia Myers was an American model and actress, and Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the December 1968 issue.
Cynthia Myers was the first Playboy Playmate born in the 1950s when she appeared in the magazine in December 1968. Her pictorial was titled "Wholly Toledo!" because of Myers' hometown and large breasts. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar, and quickly became a favorite of American troops in Vietnam. About Cynthia
Myers made frequent appearances on Hugh Hefner's Playboy After Dark TV series in 1969. She made an uncredited appearance in They Shoot Horses, Don't They? before taking the leading role of the sensitive lesbian rock and roll singer and bass player Casey Anderson in Russ Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. She followed this with a supporting role in the Western, Molly and Lawless John (1972).
In 1994, it became known that a nude photo of Cynthia Myers (along with fellow playmates Angela Dorian, Reagan Wilson and Leslie Bianchini) was scanned and inserted into Apollo 12 Extra-vehicular activity astronaut cuff checklists by pranksters at NASA.

I fell in love with Cynthia back in 1968! Married a woman who looked a lot like her in 1974. Not built as well but just as gorgeous! Loved Cynthia in "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls" when I was in college. She was such a gorgeous woman and so sweet too. You just wanted to hug her and hold her and wish that she would fall in love with me too. Sorry, I didn't know this tribute existed until tonight (5/30/15). So may she rest in peace in heaven because that's

So sad to see you go, but how nice it was to enjoy who you were with us on earth. So glad to know that there will be another time to enjoy you and all of my other friends and family one day soon.
You did it right while with us and you are a model of many other means. Yes your beauty was great but it is your character that is going to be missed the most.

I cannot express my sadness at the loss of such a wonderful person. The joy and happiness she brought to me via the Russ Meyer film Beyond the Valley of the Dolls will never be replaced. I will miss her.
