About Jackie
i first saw jackie perform at allendale in northumberland in the 90s and was hooked, then went all over to watch him perform, every gig was fantastic, he would always pass the time of day with you and i am happy that he excepted that gin from me on the renfrew ferry, he also always signed my cds and signed a poster for me at king tutts which was taken from the wall of that establishment.
he will be sadly missed, and no more of his haunting music to look forward to.
rest in peace jackie, another good son of scotland gone but never forgotten.
