Sir Peter O'Sullevan was born in Ireland and worked for the BBC as a horse racing commentator.
He was the BBC's leading horse racing commentator from 1947 to 1997, during which time Peter O'Sullevan described some of the greatest moments in the history of Britain's most popular race, the Grand National.
Peter O'Sullevan passed away on the 29th July 2015. May he rest in peace.
